UTime Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 12, 2026

UTime helps students import an .ics timetable file and show upcoming class timing and room information through Live Activities, the Lock Screen, and Dynamic Island.

Information UTime Stores On Your Device

UTime stores your imported schedule, app settings, and optional setup answers such as display name, campus, major, and year on your device so the app can show your upcoming classes.

Information Sent To Our Backend

To update Live Activities while the app is not open, UTime sends limited schedule and Live Activity data to our backend provider, Supabase. This may include course code, meeting type, section, delivery mode, building, room number, start time, end time, reminder settings, a random installation identifier, and the Live Activity push token issued by Apple.

This data is used only to deliver Live Activity updates, such as showing a countdown before class or ending the current Live Activity.

What UTime Does Not Do

Deleting Data

You can delete imported classes in the app by clearing your schedule. Removing the app from your device deletes local app data. Live Activity backend records are used for short-term Live Activity delivery.
